The annual meeting of the Koli Forum Association was held on March 15th in Helsinki. The new board members as well as a new chairman were elected at the annual meeting.
The board members for the period 2018-2019 are:
Dr. Mari Walls, President and CEO of Natural Resources Institute Finland
Dr. Anne-Christine Ritschkoff, Senior Advisor, Adjunct Professor , VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland
Mr. Sixten Sunabacka, CEO of Tornator Oyj
Ms. Maarit Siitonen, Regional Development Manager, Regional Council of North Karelia
Dr. Harri Siiskonen, Academic Rector, University of Eastern Finland
Dr. Jarkko Määttänen, Mayor, City of Lieksa
The new Chairman of the Board is Dr. Pentti Hyttinen, Director General of Metsähallitus.
For the past two years the Association’s Board has successfully been chaired by Professor Jyrki Kangas, whose term now ended. Koli Forum wants to express the warmest gratitude for the active contribution and insightful leadership provided by Dr. Kangas.
