TRAVEL
By air
Forum participants are responsible for making their own travel arrangements to Joensuu. Refer to the location map. The destination airport for the meeting is Joensuu (JOE). Finnair flies from Helsinki to Joensuu six times a day on weekdays. For detailed flight schedules, please visit www.finnair.com.
On Saturday (24 October) an extra charter flight connection, departuring at 3 p.m. from Joensuu to Helsinki has been organised. The cost of the one-way flight is 250 euros. No electronic ticket will be sent to the passangers.
A chartered shuttle bus will be organised to run from Joensuu to Koli:

The cost of the shuttle bus connection is 22 euros, except for the free connections and taxis.

ACCOMMODATION
Guests will be accommodated in the immediate vicinity of the seminar location, at the Sokos Hotel Koli (address: Ylä-Kolintie 39, FI-83960 Koli) and nearby luxury cottages. Prices of the rooms (incl. breakfast) are:

The Koli Forum Secretariat will book accommodation on your behalf. To secure your booking, accommodation must be paid for in advance. An invoice will be sent by e-mail or by post to the address indicated on the travel details form. For further details regarding conditions for booking accommodation, please refer to the Terms and Conditions on this form.
Allocation of guest accommodation is on a first-come, first-served basis, with priority given to hotel accommodation. If you would prefer to stay in a cottage rather than the hotel, please indicate this on the travel details form.
VENUE
The venue for the Koli Forum is the Heritage Centre “Ukko” in
MEALS
On Friday evening the dinner will be at the Finnish Stone Centre. Otherwise meals will be served at the Sokos Hotel Koli. Breakfast is included in the accommodation price. Breakfast is served at the hotel for those staying in cottages. If you have a special diet, please indicate this on the travel details form.
There will be no charge for the meals mentioned in the programme.
SEMINAR FEE
There is no fee for participation, although participants are expected to cover their own travel and accommodation expenses.
LANGUAGE
The official language of the Koli Forum is English.
REGISTRATION
Participation in the Koli Forum is by invitation only. There are still a limited number of places available but we encourage you to register as soon as possible.

DRESS CODE
Smart casual throughout the event including dinners.
WEATHER
In October the daily temperature in Koli may vary between +10°C and -5°C and rainy days are possible. Do bring appropriate warm clothing and an umbrella!
