Advisory Board
Advisory Board contributes to the formulation of themes for future Forums and consults the Steering Group in preparing the program and list of invited participants. The Advisory Board consists of distinguished Finnish business leaders and decision makers and is lead by the President of the Supreme Administrative Court of Finland, Dr. Pekka Hallberg.

Steering Group 
Steering Group oversees the practical preparation of the Forum. Steering Group of the Koli Forum 2009 consists of distinguished leaders of Finnish forestry and related organizations as well as stakeholders from the hosting province of North-Karelia. The Steering Group is lead by the Executive Director of the Regional Council of North Karelia, Dr. Pentti Hyttinen.

Secretariat
Secretariat for the first Koli Forum is the Finnish Forest Research Institute.

Partners and supporters
The Koli Forum has been financially supported by the Finnish Forest Industries Federation, the Finnish Forest Foundation, the Foundation for Economic Education of Finland, the Joensuu Regional Development Company JOSEK Ltd., the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of Finland and the Regional Council of North Karelia.

European Forest Institute EFI, the Forest Foresight Unit of the Joensuu University and the Finnish Forest Research Institute are responsible for the content production of the event.
